The Glen Innes Brickworks has been in continuous production since the 1890s, providing a range of heritage bricks to architects, designers, government departments, builders and renovators.
Glen Innes Brickworks produces traditional dry-pressed bricks from a variety of clay deposits found in the New England area. These deposits are the result of volcanic activity and are highly mineralized. By careful blending of the clays and specialized firing methods in our wood-fired kiln, we are able to produce a diverse range of colours and textures particularly suited to the new and renovation market. We also produce a range of special shapes.
Glen Innes Brickworks bricks are used to match original bricks that are no longer available. Their quality, colour and availability in special shapes have assisted in the satisfactory completion of many heritage projects. Discerning buyers who require genuine products for their new Federation Style residences also purchase Glen Innes bricks.
